About Food Microbiology and Safety Department


Food Microbiology and Safety is one of the major departments in Food Technology College. In this department various courses related to Food Microbiology and Safety are studied which is benficial at industrial level for the students. This department clearly focused on food safety of the food product. Food Safety describing handling, preparation and storage of food in ways that prevent foodborn illness.

Importance of Food Microbiology & Safety for Food Technologists

Food Microbiology & Safety offers a variety of work include basic research, process development, production, technical services and quality control. A much wider range of food technologist will be needed by industry, Many Food Technologists are involved in the development or implementation certain process and the quality of resultant products.
